Renewable Energy Products and Expertise Showcase: South Africa

You are invited to join the South African Renewable Energy Product & Expertise Showcase, an invitation-only event that will bring together South African suppliers of goods and services to the renewable energy sector with project developers and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) working in Africa.

The UK funded Trade Forward Southern Africa (TFSA) programme is focused on unlocking non-tariff barriers to trade and growing exports in selected value chains across the SACU+M region. The Greentech sector, and more specifically the Renewable Energy sector, in South Africa is one of the value chains being supported by TFSA. This two-day event will highlight the regional project supply opportunities and is a unique occasion for South African suppliers to access regional markets for renewable energy-related products. Firms can showcase their products and the rapidly growing expertise available in South Africa to renewable energy project developers, OEMs and engineering, procurement and construction (EPCs) companies operating in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Conference

The TFSA expertise showcase event will kick off with an information-packed half-day conference, co-hosted by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO). Featuring keynote speakers and panel discussions, the sessions will highlight the TFSA-developed opportunity matrix and duty exemption process tools; the South African Renewable Energy Masterplan and outline South Africa’s current supply capacity.
